Goodbye Great Grandpa.
This week Mason lost his only great grandpa on Tyler's side.
Keith had been struggling to find happiness for the last four years or so since the love of his life passed away. It is always hard to lose someone you love, but losing someone who is your life is especially tough. He missed her every day and has now been reunited with her in Heaven.
Mason got to meet his great grandpa over Easter. We are so glad we made this trip.
A couple weeks later, he had a bad fall. This led to surgery which led to internal bleeding and pneumonia, which all led to the loss of his life on Earth and the beginning of his life with next to the Lord.

I just have to remember to soak up as much time as I can when with family. A family time sponge. There isn't anything worth more in my opinion.
This weekend we will be honoring this father, grandfather, and great grandfather. We will be spending quality time with the ones we love. Crying, laughing, hugging, and sharing.

4 generation shot.Whenever someone loses a parent (in this case, Tyler's mom), it makes me think of what it will be like when I lose mine. They are amazing people and I know they will be going to Heaven and eventually I will join them again, but it still brings a tear to my eyes. I know I will feel alone without them.
