You are a delightful, chunky thing.
You love to clap and smile.
You just started walking more than one or two steps, but still prefer a speedy getaway on all fours.
You have such a big smile, that is, when you aren't concentrating on whatever is at hand.
You have decided that walking is much cooler than crawling and it is your go-to mode of transportation.
When you don't get what you want, you take no pause at expressing your disappointment. Just like your Aunt Lindy.

We recently started putting socks on you as the colder weather sets in. I think you could spend an hour just sitting there playing with your stockings.
A few weeks ago you were riding in the Ergo on Dad so he could run over to work for something and you were attacked by wasps. You got stung 4 times (3 on your head, one on your arm), but with a little lavender oil and lots of loving, you were laughing and happy a short while later.
Love eating meat. Chicken, hamburger, roast, fish.. you enjoy it all and "hoover it up" whenever we serve you some. You both also really enjoy blueberries, rice, spaghetti, and oranges. You try everything we give you. You still only have the two teeth that appeared at 7 months, but I think new ones will be making their appearance soon. I've also been thinking that for the last 5 months.. so.. we'll see.
You will put anything an everything in your mouth. The moment I set you down outside, you reach for the closest thing you can grab and in it goes.
You love water. We have visited the beach a couple times and both times you wouldn't have minded if we just left you there playing in the lake.
Love to swing at the park (in your own swings), but not too high. Eating bark is probably your next highest ranking park activity.
You are a big waver. If you hear a word that sounds anything like "bye", you will immediately start flapping your arm. One morning as Dad was leaving for work, you waved and said, "Bye bye, da da."
You are very hesitant around dogs. If we walk past a dog that is barking, you usually start to cry.
Seem to enjoy each other's company. Sometimes you smack one another around or go mouth to mouth trying to bite (that is an interesting sight). Finnley I'm not sure how many more times it will take for you to figure out that when you put your finger in Elliot's mouth.. she is going to bite you. However, at the end of the day, you fall asleep best knowing your sister is on the other side of mom and usually reach over to make sure while nursing.
Things you love: snuggles (at the right times), opening drawers and emptying them, clapping, riding on mama.
Things you hate: when strangers so much as glance at you.
Things you love: climbing, pointing at things and grunting, playing the piano, carrying things around when you walk.
Things you hate: being held still, ice cream, showers.
Things you love: crawling through and playing in tunnels, going up and down the stairs, eating off the floor, baths and anything water related, cell phones, drinking out of real cups, going for walks, pulling markers out of the desk drawer, mama's milk, chewing on everything, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, reading short books, using utensils, being outside.
Things you hate: diaper changes, getting clothes on, riding in the car, covers.
