The First Tooth.
It seems like a bunch of babies Mason's age have started teething and sprouting teeth on the blogs I follow -- Burkley, William, Marshall, and even Julianna (who just turned 1 year!).
I have been reading their stories and yet I really wasn't anticipating it to happen to Mason anytime soon. He's been drooling for the past three months and figured teeth were way off in the distance. Luckily, it hasn't been too much of a nightmare for us. A few days before his tooth showed itself, he was crankier than usual. We were staying with my mom, so thankfully he was surrounded by grandmas that wanted to hold him and entertain him. Distraction is a great teething remedy!
When I was nursing him one day, it felt a little different. It didn't hurt, but I wondered if a tooth had popped through. So, when he was done, I felt around in his mouth and sure enough, there it was.
It is a sharpie. When we got home, I put on his amber teething necklace.. and then it broke a couple days later. Apparently I suck at making necklaces. So, hopefully all teeth will hold their position until I fix the broken necklace.

I was thinking about trying the amber necklace but keep forgetting to order it... everyone says it works... who knows?!
Good luck with the teeth. Julianna was ok with a couople of them - it's so strange how some can hurt so much more than the others... Poor babies!! :(
