Miscellany Monday.

1. Yesterday we went to the farmer's market in Omaha.  We met my parents there (and later Tyler's mom, too) and came away with a cooler full of goodies.  I wasn't really sure what to expect for this time of year, but we got some broccoli, cabbage, peas, cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, some pastries and some delicious goat cheese.  I want a goat even more now and after eating the cheese, my husband is more likely to give in someday when we have a place for one (or two).  Afterwards we hit up Red Lobster and Mason had his first taste of fish.

2. Storm season is here!  I always enjoyed a good storm when I was young (and invincible), and while I still enjoy them today, I'd rather enjoy from more of a distance without the threat of my house being blown down and my baby being blown away.  A good thundershower is perfect, although I believe it is only a matter of time before Mason starts fearing the loud booms.. since the toilets flushing at Red Lobster yesterday scared him to tears.  Poor baby.

3.  I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I have never edited my pictures before (with the exception of a few I've adjusted the color on or cropped).  My process was camera - computer - blog.  Well, I'm trying something new.  I want to add edit into my routine, which will be a little more time consuming (perhaps the reason I did not do so before), but we'll see how I can keep up.  I don't have any fancy software, so for now (and likely a long time into the future), bear with my freebie/novice editing.

4.  The little creature my husband and I created is officially on the move.  Constantly.  He's crawling, pulling himself up, rolling, just busy, busy busy.  I'm excited he has finally figured out how to move forward, instead of just in circles and backwards because I think he'll be so much happier!  BUT, I'm not sure I'm ready for everything else that comes with the new transportation.

Wow he's crawling! It's a good and bad thing ... but with the new found freedom, it seems they don't want to be held anymore as much - they want to be on the floor! haha! At least that's the way Julianna was/is. :)
