Large Lime

Luckily, my throwing up has gotten a little better and I can usually get away with doing so just once, in the morning, almost like clockwork. In the books and online it says that the nausea should now begin to taper off, but I feel like it is going the other way. But, the morning sickness is just a sign that things are still going well so I'm not complaining too much. We have a doctor appointment in one week and will get to hear the heartbeat. We are very anxious for this appointment.. what is the heartbeat going to sound like? what if we don't hear it? what if there is more than one? Anxious.
Another question we have lingering in our brains is after we hear the heartbeat, do we tell everyone? Once the heartbeat is confirmed, the chances of miscarriage are small, but we'd still have two weeks left in the first trimester, which at the end of it the chances go down to 1 percent. I guess we will have some more time to ponder.

The naseua needs to go away. End of story. They say it only lasts through the first trimester (that's still six weeks, ugh), and some people suffer their whole pregnancy, yikes. I actually just threw up. Outside. In the wind. It was gross, but what is more gross is that the dogs are probably cleaning it up now. It was mostly noodles and bits of blueberry, wildrice brats... with some sort of stomac acid mixed within I'm sure. Pretty much the same thing dog food is made out of. I came away from the scene with an obvious bad taste in my mouth, and as much of a bloody nose I've ever had. Not actively bleeding, but a bloody blow (because, yes, I'm still sick and am constantly coughing up musus and blowing my nose.)
Last night we went in to Sioux Falls, ate at Taco Bell (we ate at Taco John's the other day, it didn't quite fill the taco hole in my soul). It was delicious and cheap, best combination when it comes to going out to eat. Then we decided to go see what was playing at the $4 theatre. Found one, had some time to kill. First things first, had to empty the bladder. But why stop there? Might as well puke while the toilet is right there, right? Done. My delicious taco bell, gone :( Except for the stains I managed to collect on my shirt from the "splash". All a memory.
We saw Blindside, it was good. Except, I coughed through the entire movie. We got up and left at the end before everyone else so we wouldn't have to deal with the "I hate you" stares. In fact, we were half expecting to get the crap beat out of us in the parking lot, but made it home safe.

Pinto Bean

8 weeks.

We had our first appointment 2 days ago. We didn't really learn too much or get any reassurance that everything is going alright since it is too early to listen to the heartbeat.. but my uterus felt to be the right size and so far everything is going better than last time.

All my gagging has upgraded to actually throwing up and the naceous feeling just doesn't seem to ever go away. It is sometimes hard to make it through the school day. I have strategically placed a trash can where I can hide from my students and throw up if I can't make it to the bathroom. I've only used it once so far and it was between classes.

Sidenote--the grass is getting greener :)
