Oh Hey, By The Way..

I'm pregnant! In fact, I'm 15 weeks along and due mid-October. I've been a pretty crappy blogger lately and I'm totally blaming it on the status of my womb.
My first trimester was filled with fun.
-Morning sickness. Nauseous all day, throwing up every morning.. and don't even get me started on the week I had morning sickness AND the stomach flu..
-Fatigue. So sleepy. If only Mason wanted to nap 3 times a day again, that'd be nice.
-Moodiness. My poor husband.
-Sore nipples. Definitely makes breastfeeding feel a little more hardcore.
At our 12 week appointment, we heard the heartbeat right away. That was refreshing. When I was pregnant with Mason it took our OB at least 3 minutes (an eternity) to find it.
This time around, I am seeing a handful of midwives instead of an OB. We drive a good 45 minutes to my appointments, all to ensure the possibility of a successful VBAC.
My belly started expanding quite early, as do most with their second baby. I started to show around week 10, before we announced our new baby on the way. Good thing I live in t-shirts.
We announced to our families all in the same weekend, in person, around week 11. My mom said she already knew, my sister was upset we hadn't told her yet, and my mother-in-law said something like, "Oh.. are you?" and not in an enthusiastic way. But Tyler's dad and Barb showed their excitement, thank you for that.
As I've headed into the second trimester, my symptoms have let up a little, but are still far from gone. In the past week I've started to feel the baby move, which is of course awesome. I am definitely looking forward to being morning sickness-free!

Awww, congrats, Mama! I starting showing at 10 weeks with my #2, and ohmyword, got the SAME reaction from my MIL. UGH.
Way to go for nursing while pregnant. That IS hardcore! ;) Hope you get your VBAC, too. Midwives are awesome.

Awwwww! Congrats! How awesome! Good luck and I hope you are feeling better! Mason is going to make a great big brother! Great news indeed! Keep us posted on how you're feeling. I have heard the 2nd one shows quicker - everyone says that so it must be true! haha

(p.s. we share the same secret but I have not announced it on my blog yet or even told many people as i am still a few weeks behind you :) - Shhhhhhh ;)

Congratulations! I'm starting to feel the pressure as just about every blog I follow with a little one around the same age as Marshall is expecting their 2nd!

Hooray!! I was actually wondering about this the other day, which is very random! Keep us posted on how nursing goes and I'm so glad you've switched care providers. Hoping for the best this time around!
