9 Months.

Dear Mason,

You have officially been outside my belly longer than you were growing inside my belly.  I have to say, you being in the "outside world" is going by much, much faster than when I was pregnant with you.

We haven't had your checkup yet, but I'm thinking you might weigh less than you did when we went in last month (20 1/2 pounds) because of all the exercising you do.  The size 18 month clothes are still fitting well, and what 12 month clothes you can still wear are getting a bit snug.  It may be time to pack those away soon.

We still aren't sure what color your eyes are going to be.  They can't make up their mind.  They seem to be a greyish, blueish, brownish, greenish color.  Mine still tend to change, so maybe your's will continue to be indecisive.

You are crawling everywhere, pulling up on everything, and start off shy of everyone new.  You love to practice standing with no hands and dancing when you're holding on to something.

You enjoy:
-Pulling laundry out of the clothes basket.
-Taking things out of the cabinets in the kitchen.
-Piggy back rides.
-Opening and shutting the medicine cabinet doors.
-Sitting in the sink and turning the water on and off.

-Turning the pages of books... and it seems like you know just when to do so.
-Crawling up the stairs.

-Laughing.

-Running.

-Being outside.

-Boxing.

-New (to you) stuff.

You have a tooth coming in on top now, seems like we've been waiting forever for that thing to poke through.  It isn't visible yet, but we can feel it.
In three short months you will be a year old.  That's just weird.
Keep doing what you do.

Love,
Mom

Happy 9 months Mason! He is just a doll. I love that he sits in the sink and turns on the water. So funny. that sounds like something my littlest would want to do too. :-)

Happy 9 months Mason! Awww! I remember when Julianna turned 9 months and having that same realization that she was officially outside my belly longer than she was inside! :) Kind of awesome!
