We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo.

Actually, we already went to the zoo and I only sung that song a couple times on the way there.

We met Tyler's sister and family at the Omaha zoo yesterday.  I've always loved that zoo.  I grew up visiting it and enjoy seeing how much it has changed over the years.
We were meeting at 11, which meant we had to leave by 9:45, which didn't happen (shocker), mostly because of this:
How could we disturb this?

We did eventually get on the road and ended only arriving ten minutes or so after them.
We started off with the dessert, ate dinner, browsed the monkeys, cats, bears, walked through the jungle, and ended with the aquarium.  Tyler and I switched often with stroller/camera/ergo duty, so some of the pictures are his, some are mine.
My niece and nephew had a splendid time and it was so fun to see Jacob snapping shots of everything with his new camera.  Mason loved all the sights.  He loved them so much that he stayed awake for almost 5 hours straight, which does not happen very often, and when it does, watch out.  Luckily, there was no overtired meltdown this time.

Mason would reach down to pet this lizard statue and then pull his hand away waiting for it to move.

Just my husband admiring his reflection.

Sleepy sleepy.

Daddy's first time using the Ergo.

Looks like you had fun. I can't wait for the weather to get decent around here so we can take Marshall to the zoo :)
